WITH a strong and talented set of players on paper the Suva football team looks favourite to win the 2018 Vodafone Fiji FACT title.

The Fiji Football Association says the Capital side under the guidance of former Cook Islands head coach/midfielder, Tuka Tisam has included some of the youth players from the Vodafone Fiji U19 camp.

The current Vodafone Premier League leaders with the set of new and energetic officials and under the guidance of Vodafone national goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau in goal, the team will be favourites for the final four and the potential for another Vodafone Fiji FACT title to their recent swag of tournament titles.

Suva last won the Fiji FACT title in 2012 beating Ba 1-0 at a jam-packed Govind Park as they ended their 17-year drought. Already been five years since they last won this title, the Capital City Boys will be on the run for the prize money, else wait for yet another year.

Meanwhile Fiji FA says Shahil Dave is a player to watch for Rewa in this year’s Fiji FACT.

He is a very skilful player who has been very impressive in Suva’s recent wins in the Vodafone Premier League and past victories.
