SUVA has secured their spot in the Skipper Cup FRU Premiership final after defeating Namosi 26-20.

It was a close match as both teams struggled.

Two tries were scored by Suva’s Peni Matawalu in the second half, and both conversions were unsuccessful.

Enele Malele and Meli Kurisaru of Suva both managed to secure a penalty.

Coach Ulaiasi Verevou said the players’ performance changed in the second half after they were told by their head coach to follow their own game plan.

At this hour, it is highly likely that Suva will play Nadroga who is leading Naitasiri 52-19 at Lawaqa Park.
