SURFERS are preparing for this weekend’s Powerade Junior Pro, presented by Cloudbreak and Wailoaloa Boardriders.

Fiji surfing head coach Ian Portingale said there had been a lot of interest for the event at Cloudbreak, Tavarua.

“The local Fijian surfers have been training hard in readiness,” Portingale said.

“There are 14 internationals entered into the event that will start Saturday morning at Cloudbreak, and run through to Sunday afternoon.”

The Fiji Surfing Association also thanked the sponsors – Coca Cola, Fiji National Sports Commission, Cloudbreak and Wailoaloa Boardriders.
