Support for Team Fiji

TEAM Fiji to the Commonwealth Games in Australia has all the good reasons to return home on April 16 beaming with gold medals.
While assistance in all forms has been pouring in for the national contingent which departs for Gold Coast tomorrow, FASANOC and Team Fiji officials are working overtime to ensure our athletes are well trained and prepared by supplying almost everything they need.
With Government providing a substantial monetary help, corporate sponsors have done their part in piling up the freebies on the athletes’ silver plates.
This includes Motibhai Group of Companies, the agent of Rexona cosmetic products in Fiji.
The group, a partner with FASANOC and Team Fiji, yesterday provided Team Fiji athletes and officials Rexona deodorants and roll-on deodorant to be used during the games.
“The Motibhai Group of Companies is proud to be part of Team Fiji to important international events such as the Commonwealth Games,” group marketing and business development manager Abraham Gomes said.
“We support Team Fiji like what we did in the Olympic Games in Rio. We are proud that Rexona, with its unique symbol, the iconic tick and its slogan ‘It won’t let you down’ is back to help our national team.
“So by using this world leading brand which has closely been associated with global sporting stars, Rexona will not let our athletes down and it will help them return with bags of medals.
“Rexona will make them smell good which will make them feel good and happy and give the confidence to perform well to win.”
The group presented 145 packs of Rexona products to the contingent.
They were received by FASANOC and Team Fiji’s Sitiveni Tawakevou.
“FASANOC is grateful to sponsors like Motibhai Group of Companies for ensuring that everything is provided to the athletes to help them win.
“Rexona is a leading world brand and its assistance will help athletes perform well. All the help is given so that athletes will not worry, but to focus on the games and win. We thank Motibhai Group of Companies for the huge assistance towards our athletes.”
Rexona was originally created in Australia in 1908 by a pharmacist and his wife. Since then it has led the field by providing consumers with cutting-edge technology that’s been proven to deliver outstanding results.
Rexona is the world’s largest deodorant in sales and market shares.
Featuring proprietary body-responsive technology, Rexona is the only brand tailored to the individual needs of men and women alike.
The brand is now owned by Unilever —— a British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company co-headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and London, United Kingdom.
Its products include food, beverages, cleaning agents and personal care products.
