Update: 3:39PM PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama opened a resource centre for villagers of Nabua along Sukunaivalu Road in Suva today.

Speaking at the opening of the hall, Mr Bainimarama said the resource centre would serve as a place for students to study, be tutored and take their examination.

“This new resource centre will replace the old Nabua community hall, which, after being partially destroyed by a fire was demolished. I’m sure this was a very difficult time for local members of the community and I’m sure that demolishing the badly damaged hall was a very emotional decision for you all,” he said.

“I am confident that a strong willed community like yours will make great use of such an outstanding building.”

Mr Bainimarama also confirmed Government dedicated more than $320,000 to the construction of the centre.
