Update: 5:46PM A STUDENT has questioned Government’s plan in setting up E-learning in secondary schools around the country.

The student was part of the 2018 – 2019 National Budget Consultations with school students at Vashist Muni College in Navua earlier today.

In response, Attorney-General and Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the Government was looking at issues like having course work in the setup and for example having homework being done through tablets and submitted by the internet.

“We also have to make sure that for example , you may have connectivity of internet over here , we must ensure that schools in the remote areas also have internet connectivity,” Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said.

“Otherwise this school will become far more advanced than those rural schools.”
