Strong wind warning cancelled

THE strong wind warning previously in force for land areas of northern Viti Levu and Yasawa group is now cancelled.

This was confirmed in a weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am today.

However there will be cloudy periods with brief showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands for midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group.

Elsewhere, fine apart from possible isolated afternoon or evening showers and cool nights.

Expect moderate easterly winds, fresh at times and moderate to rough seas.

For the outlook for Wednesday there will be cloudy periods with some showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.
