Update: 2.28pm THE Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua (SDL) party claims it is the principal victim of 5 December.
Reacting to the absence of a tribunal to hear the case of suspended Chief Justice, Daniel Fatiaki, SDL executive Peceli Kinivuwai said the party, like Mr Fatiaki, is waiting for evidence of corruption against them.
''Nothing has eventuated in the SDL case, so what do you expect in cases such as Mr Fatiaki's,'' Mr Kinivuwai said.
Justice Fatiaki was suspended early this year over allegations of corruption.
Mr Kinivuwai said the main concern of the SDL is a national election.
''An election should start the ball rolling to get other things in order,'' Mr Kinivuwai told Fiji Times Online.
The SDL is hopeful interim Prime Minister, Commander Voreqe Bainimarama will stick to his undertaking to hold the polls in the first quarter in 2009.
