NETBALL Fiji will name its 12-member Fiji Pearls team to the 2018 Commonwealth Games tomorrow.

Fiji Pearls head coach Vicki Wilson said the players had been going through some very hard training.

"We will name our team on Friday (tomorrow) for the Commonwealth Games and the players have been very competitive in the training," Wilson told this newspaper.

"It is exciting to keep pushing each other to a new level and it is wonderful to see the blend of the senior players and the youth players.

"It is very rewarding to see them coming together in the team."

Wilson acknowledges the support from the Fiji Police Force for giving their gym in Nasova to train in for the Commonwealth Games.

"We have a series in New Zealand in two weeks time which is called Taini Jamison series," she revealed. Fiji will play against New Zealand, Jamaica and Malawi."

The Commonwealth Games will be held from April 4-15.
