7s consistency

Donald Singh, Lautoka
Wednesday, March 07, 2018

Gareth Baber's team is now showing signs of the much-needed consistency coming back. That loss against the USA was probably written on the wall. Third place was alright, and consistency means just that, hanging around 1-2-3.

Vancouver is the ultimate test for Hong Kong, and Hong Kong the ultimate test for the Commonwealth Games and penultimate test for the Sevens World Cup.

NZ isn't a real threat anymore and our boys just need to shift to second gear only to overcome them. However, for South Africa and the USA, we need the sixth, seventh gears, the OD button, turbochargers, high-octane fuel and all.

The famed sand dunes of Nadroga and Ben Ryan, get ready for some aggressive dune trampling. I mean, if Baber decides to pay homage.
