Fiji Electricity Authority Enforce road laws

Gulsher Ali, Lautoka
Wednesday, March 07, 2018

LTA officials should book those drivers who overtake from the left hand side.

Increase penalty fee for offenders who pull their vehicles out of traffic queues and drive with hazard lights on while vehicles are coming from the opposite side.

This is a daily practice from Korovuto to Nadi Town.

LTA officials should work smarter and come harsh on those bus drivers who overtake from the left side and drivers who overtake in traffic queues causing a major risk to on coming vehicles from the opposite end.

Most of these drivers use the hazard light to indicate urgency and emergency but now it is turning out to be a habit of drivers along this stretch.

LTA shouldn't let such offenders get off easily but make them pay heavily because of their stupidity.

LTA officials should strictly monitor this stretch and dish out tickets to those who think above the law.
