THE Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team will again face Kenya and France in pool play at next weekend's Canada 7s in Vancouver.

Apart from Kenya and France, the Jerry Tuwai-captained side will also play the unpredictable Spain side in Pool C.

USA 7s winner, USA has been placed in Pool A where they will face Australia, Uruguay and hosts Canada.

Argentina, the runner-up in Las Vegas heads Pool B where they play England, Wales and Samoa.

2017/2018 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series leaders South Africa is in Pool D along with New Zealand, Scotland and Russia.

The Fiji team after finishing in third spot at the USA 7s left for Vancouver yesterday as coach Gareth Baber looks to patch up areas he wants improved before the competition starts on Sunday.

Baber, after beating South Africa for the bronze medal in Las Vegas, said the team focused on finishing the third leg of the competition on high note.

Fiji was bundled out in the semi-finals of the Canada 7s last year by England in a one-sided affair. England scored six tries to win 40-7.

Fiji's lone try was scored by captain Osea Kolinisau.

Fiji made its way to the last four after beating Australia 28-20 in the quarter-finals.

The Canada 7s is the sixth of 10 tournaments in the 2017/2018 series.

After five tournaments, the series had produced five different winners in South Africa (Dubai), New Zealand (Cape Town), Australia (Sydney) and Fiji (Hamilton) and USA (Las Vegas).
