Update: 1:25PM FOURTEEN new election officials signed their contract in Suva today, making them the first batch of officials for two polling stations.

Those officials who signed their contracts and those who had yet to sign, also are advised to inform the nearest FEO office of any changes to their addresses or any other personal details.

FEO director Corporate Services Sanjeshwar Ram said that information was needed to confirm that they were assigned to an appropriate polling venue on election day, and to ensure a smooth process in payments following the end of an official's contract.

While he congratulated the successful applicants, Mr Ram said their focus now was to work very closely with the FEO in order to deliver a successful and credible election.
