THE newest hotel in Nadi is expected to not only uplift the Jet Set Town's image, but also provide more options for tourists holidaying in Fiji.

Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Dr Ram Raju said Nalagi, located on the Queens Rd, would open in a few months' time.

He made the comment at a business forum held there over the weekend.

"They have a great management team led by career hospitality leader Robin Maivusaroko, who is the newly appointed general manager," he said.

"The nine-storey structure has almost 300 rooms with a rooftop pool and it's a great venue for meetings and functions as well.

"It is very encouraging to note that the chamber has been the first organisation to host a business forum at the new premises prior to its official opening."

He claimed the new structure was undoubtedly the tallest in the Western Division.

"It will add more glamour to the thriving tourism industry and provide great employment opportunities for locals as well."
