A MAJOR development at an iconic resort in Pacific Harbour is on track adding more excitement to Fiji's adventure capital.

The resort — Nanuku Auberge Resort — is developing its Auberge Beach Villas which will have the addition of 13 new villas.

This development also adds to the level of sophisticated luxury and Nanuku Auberge Resort's overall product delivery as a leading resort in Fiji.

The resort announced last week that it had engaged Pacific Building Solutions (PBS) which is developing and building 7 x 1-bedroom and 6 x 2-bedroom villas at Nanuku in Pacific Harbour.

The resort, in a statement, stated that the Auberge Beach Villas was valued at about $10 million and will employ up to 100 staff members for the duration of the project.

"We have a great ongoing relationship with Nanuku Resort and are pleased to have won the tender for a project of this magnitude," Pacific Building Solutions managing director Michael Fairfax said.

The villas that were designed by Australian award-winning firm Grounds Kent Architects are expected to be completed in August.
