2018 USA 7s: Fiji secures second convincing win

Update: 4:22PM THE Fiji Airways national 7s team secured another convincing win that has guaranteed them a spot in the quarter-finals of the Las Vegas 7s tournament defeating France 33-5 in their second pool game within the last hour.

The side survived a physical and tough encounter against Tavite Veredamu's France team which has set a good platform for the do-or-die games tomorrow.

Lanky forward Josua Vakurunabuli scored two tries while Kalione Nasoko, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Mesulame Kunavula also adding their names to the try scoring list with a try each.

Fiji will face Kenya in its last pool game tomorrow and a possible showdown against New Zealand in the quarter-final.
