Nadi Chamber hosts forum for Chinese businesses

Update: 3:45PM THE Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry today hosted a business forum with its Chinese business owners who have set up firms in the Jet Set town.

The NCCI also marked the day with a celebration of the Chinese New Year.

NCCI president Dr Ram Raju said the Spring Festival was an important festival for ringing out the old and ringing in the new.

"In Chinese culture, the Spring Festival is also a time to review the past and look forward to the future," Dr Raju said.

He said 2017 marked a fruitful year for the bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and Fiji.

The meeting included presentations from university lecturers, civil society and the private sector.
