Cessna 172: Lutu and Tawalo finally in the hands of their loved ones

Update: 1:38PM THE Fijian Police pathologist has completed the post-mortem examinations on the bodies of student pilot Merelesita Lutu and instructor Iliesa Tawalo.

A statement issued by Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said the bodies have been handed over to their loved ones. 

"We can now also confirm that the crash scene will be handed over to the New Zealand-appointed investigator today," ADCP Tudravu said. 

He said the examination results would not be released because investigations were in progress.
