FIJI Airways Fiji 7s skipper Jerry Tuwai and playmaker Amenoni Nasilasila are on the Kenyan 7s team hit list when they face the Fijians in their last pool game of the USA 7s in Las Vegas tomorrow.

Kenya head coach Innocent Simiyu says the duo, and a Fijian forward which he did not mention his name, will be the main target.

He said these three talented players had the ability, vision and the skills to break any defensive line.

"We are very much aware of Nasilasila and Tuwai —— they are very good game breakers and especially the new guy in the forward," said Simiyu.

"They can unlock any defence and we just need to control the possession in order to win."

The former Kenya 7s captain said he had a few tricks up his sleeves to counter these three Fijian boys.

Simiyu said they hadn't beaten Fiji for a long time and was confident that the return of their experienced players in Collins Injera and Wily Ambaka would boost the side.

He said he had a powerful side that could beat the Fijians.

"Most of our key players have missed out because of injury in the past and they have been coming back to the game slowly.

"We are happy with the progress made especially for Injera and Ambaka which I believe we have the right ingredients to be able to tackle Fiji and hopefully we can get a good scoreline.

"It is possible to beat Fiji and I believe we will and for us it's just executing our plans and how we want to meet our target."

Simiyu said all the pool games would be tough and they would need to fight hard to go past the pool stages.

"We have a tough pool, we have played France a couple of times this season and it is always a tough game and Russia have big boys and of course the ultimate game for us is against Fiji in the pool stages.

"We know it will be an exciting game because we haven't played Fiji for quite a while and they play a beautiful brand of rugby.

"So far we will be looking at how to control possession from kick-offs so we can control the game," he added.
