Fijians on show

Maciu Malo In Las Vegas
Saturday, March 03, 2018

THE famous tuiboto (Fijian dance) performed by members of the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s players during the team parade at Las Vegas last night livened up the atmosphere at the Freemont Street.

Teams were introduced one by one to the thousands of fans who braved the cold night in Vegas.

While the introduction was made, it was followed by the songs from the respective participating countries.

As the Fiji team was introduced —— it was accompanied by the famous Black Rose song 'Raude', winger Eroni Sau led the tuiboto to the stage much to the amazement of the fans.

This was the same dance performed by the national 7s team after winning the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics
