RATU Kadavulevu School (RKS) under-19 rugby league coach Tana Dianirova is hoping to secure the services of centre Jiuta Waniqolo who was part of the Fiji U20 training squad.

"We have good players like Jiuta who had been the in form player in the team along with George Talei," he said.

"The players are playing basic rugby and the players know what is expected from them in the matches."

The team will meet Lomary Secondary School in the Fiji secondary schools rugby league competition today.

"Lomary has huge players competed to us. We want to play the match at a fast pace, so we can run and score tries.

"Jiuta is in the Fiji under-20 squad and we are hoping that the union would release him so he can come and feature for RKS on Saturday."

He said he was happy with the performance of the players.

"I want consistency and the players have shown that in the past two matches against Marist Brothers High School and Assemblies of God High School," he said.

"RKS has a good balance of players in the team.

"They have been playing with one another from last year which also contributes towards the success of the team. They are the core players in the team which played in the under-18 Deans Trophy final last year.

"We are not underestimating Lomary Secondary School and we want to stick to the consistency and the winning streak this season."

The match will kick off at 12.05pm at St Marcellin Primary School ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
