Association against theory of evolution

THE education system in Fiji and around the world teaches students to believe in evolution and this contradicts what the Bible teaches, says Reverend Kory Mears, the managing director of the Creation Science Association of Fiji

The association held a three-day seminar at the Salvation Army headquarters in Suva about the difference between the theory of evolution and creation.

Mr Mears brought highly-qualified scientists from America.

"We have brought in very highly-qualified and credentialled scientists and archeologists who believe in creation and we're asking them to present to us the different scientific evidence that disapproves evolution and would support creation," he said.

Association officials plan to visit schools around Fiji and give books.

"Another project involves visiting schools and our team is donating over 200,000 science books to schools called Pearls and Paradise, but this science book is going to present evidence of creation to students," he said.
