Update: 7:53PM FIJI will be the team to beat in the World Rugby Pacific challenge scheduled to be held in Suva next week.

Junior Japan Academy director Tokashi Yamagami said Fiji had what it took to win this challenge since they were hosting the tournament.

"We had a tough game against Fiji because they are huge players and strong," Yamagami said.

"We want to try out our rugby strategy tactics involving overcoming competitive advantage and mainly getting our techniques right."

Yamagami said they were using this Pacific challenge as a platform for their preparation towards the World Rugby under 20 Championship in France.
