Update: 5:58PM A TOTAL of 561 women artisans participated in a two-day central craft show at the Sukuna Park in Suva.

Fiji's Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa said of all exhibitors, 80 would be selected to participate at the National Women's Expo, based on their ability to meet market demands, and the quality of their products.

Mrs Vuniwaqa said the National Women's Expo was no longer about numbers.

"This craft show is the fifth one in the series of craft shows to be held in the 2017-2018 fiscal year and it is pleasing to see the support that has been rendered to the women artisans of the division over the two-day period," she said.
