Cessna 172: Media banned from mortuary vicinity

Update: 4:55PM POLICE have removed all media personnel from the vicinity of the Labasa hospital mortuary.

Journalists and members of the public gathered outside the mortuary were approached by Police officers and asked to vacate the area.

When asked the reason for this action, journalists were told by the officers that they were just "following orders".

The bodies of student pilot Merelesita Lutu and instructor Iliesa Tawalo are being escorted to the hospital from Delaikoro this hour.
