Traffic woes

The main problem with the Suva-Nausori traffic is the Laqere bridge, it is the only way of getting from this side to the other side. Getting from Nausori to Suva, once you are over the Laqere bridge it eases off because there are a lot of options of getting to Suva. It's not only the number of cars that are contributing to traffic situations, I believe it's the road access itself.

Having another coastal road from Nadawa to Nakasi would probably ease the situation or the Princes Rd joining the Davuilevu Housing road would be a great deal.

If another road is constructed now while the Nakasi-Davuilevu road is still in progress, I believe it would be a fitting solution. More roads the better it will be.

Drivers have now even worked out the times of getting to Laqere bridge to and from work especially if you are on the Nausori end of the bridge. And when the traffic lights at the Laqere bridge does not work there is chaos. The police controlling traffic in the morning and afternoon help a lot but they need to be stationed there at other times because there are times when there is traffic congestion without them being present. But hopefully there will be someone who will come up with a great idea and would possibly solve the problem.
