Flying rubbish

Neelz Singh, Lami
Friday, March 02, 2018

Rubbish flying from every direction as some garbage truck drivers seem less bothered while taking the load of rubbish to Naboro Landfill.

This is the scene every day as you see rubbish lying on the roadsides or in the middle of the road.

Litter and depositing of rubbish is becoming common along roads and corners of neighbourhood streets. Unhealthy practices can be managed if they cover their trucks while carrying rubbish towards Naboro.

Who is responsible for cleaning up, the company who carry the rubbish or the road council or nearby villagers or we leave the issue as it is and close our eyes? There are so many awareness programs but people seem careless and negligent. Hefty spot fines may resolve some change in human behaviour.
