THERE'S no wrong way to eat an Oreo. Whether you prefer the twist and lick method or you're a classic dunker, the cookies always seem to taste better the very same way we snacked on them as kids.

But if you think Oreo eating stops there, we'd like to strongly encourage you to reconsider as there are plenty of completely unexpected Oreo treats out there that are easy to pull off and will completely change the way you munch your favourite cookie.

Delicious and full of wonder for more than 100 years, Oreo comes in various flavours with Fijian Oreo lovers being definitely on par with the rest of the world.

Yield — 16 bars prep time - 15 minutes

For the crust:

n24 Oreos (any flavour of your choice)

n4 tablespoon Golden Margarine, soft or melted

For the filling:

n250 g (roughly 8 oz) Whittaker's white chocolate, chopped

n150 g (roughly 6 oz) Philadelphia cream cheese, at room temperature

n12 Oreos, roughly chopped

For the topping (optional):

* 6 Oreos, roughly chopped

* 100 g (roughly 4 oz) Whittaker's dark chocolate, melted

To make the crust

nCombine all the ingredients and add to a food processor. Pulse until smooth (alternatively place the ingredients in a ziplock bag and smash with a rolling pin). If you use solid Golden Margarine, it might harden quickly- you can add a tablespoon of water to soften up the mixture.

nPress onto the bottom of a 9 inch square pan that has been lined with parchment paper and set aside or in the refrigerator to harden.

For the filling

nMelt the Whittaker's white chocolate either over a double boiler or in the microwave for 15 second increments, stirring in between until smooth.

nBeat the Philadelphia cream cheese and gradually pour in the Whittaker's white chocolate until it forms a smooth mixture.

nNext, fold in the 12 chopped up Oreos.

nSpread the mixture over the Oreo base as evenly as possible.

For the topping

nEvenly distribute the 6 chopped Oreos over the surface of the Whittaker's white chocolate mixture.

nChill for two hours or until firm.

* Before cutting, drizzle the bars with the melted bittersweet chocolate.
