THE National Federation Party (NFP) is expected to announce its second batch of provisional candidates in Suva today.

Party leader Professor Biman Prasad said they would announce 10 names at its headquarters in Tamavua. Not revealing much, Prof Prasad said the candidates were very credible and capable people with great leadership qualities.

He said with the good mix of candidates, the party was optimistic about a change. Last month, the party announced 31 provisional candidates for the election.

Local celebrity Lenora Qereqeretabua was also part of the first batch of provisional candidates whose names were announced by the party last month.
