Cessna 172: Police investigators remain at Delaikoro

Update: 3:32PM THE police investigation team has remained at Delaikoro to retrieve the bodies of Merelesita Lutu and Iliesa Tawalo, the flight crew of Pacific Flying School Cessna 172 that crashed into the mountain range on Monday.

It is understood the Cessna 172 aircraft rests upon a tree on Delaikoro.

The rescue team, including those from the National Fire Authority, are using pulleys and slings to reach the crash site.

Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said all attempts were now in progress to retrieve the bodies of the two victims.
