Cessna 172: Villagers warned

Update: 3:27PM VILLAGERS of Suweni in Cakaudrove have been instructed by Police not to relay any information to the media regarding their experience while searching for the missing aircraft Cessna 172.

When approached by a team from his newspaper today, village headman Waisale Cabenasiga said villagers had been strictly warned not to release any information until the bodies of the two aviators had been uplifted to Labasa hospital. 

Mr Cabenasiga said youths in the village were now reluctant to share their experience of the search or be photographed by this newspaper.
