Cessna 172: Police head of crime at site

Update: 2:54PM A HIGH profile police criminal investigations team has arrived at the crash site of Pacific Flying School Cessna 172 on Delaikoro in Macuata, Vanua Levu.

According to a statement from Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu, the team includes Mesake Waqa, the Director of the Criminal Investigations Department, crime investigators and the Police pathologist.

"All attempts are now in progress to retrieve the body of the two victims from the plane," ADCP Tudravu said.

"There is a possibility that the bodies of the victims will be uplifted from the scene and transported to the Labasa hospital where the post-mortem examination will be conducted."
