(I'm at peace. The will of God has prevailed)

These were words of an emotional Mosese Baledrokadroka, who received word of his stepson Iliesa Tawalo's death late yesterday afternoon.

Mr Baledrokadroka said he could finally be at peace, knowing that his son was finally coming home.

(I'm thankful to God that Iliesa has been found), he told the media yesterday at his home in Beverly Hills, Votualevu.

(I'm grateful that Iliesa is going to a place that God has provided for him).

(I'm thankful to God that he has given me peace).

Mr Baledrokadroka also thanked the police and every agency that assisted in helping find the flight instructor and trainee pilot Merelesita Lutu. He added he was also grateful for the support shown from close relatives, family and friends during the search for the missing pair.

The family were visited by police officers and officials from the Pacific Flying School yesterday afternoon. The delegation brought news of the discovery of the Cessna 172 aircraft, which went missing in the hills of Delanikoro in Vanua Levu.
