THE Delainavesi volleyball team is among teams to watch in the Oceania Volleyball Club Championship at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

The team, made up of some unemployed youths, beat Raiwaqa by three sets yesterday and Challengers three sets to one on Monday night.

Team coach Russel Lovo said volleyball motivated the players.

"Majority of these players are unemployed and we rely on the community in Delainavesi to help us in our fundraising," Lovo said.

Lovo said the competition had set a foundation for the players to expose their skills. In the women's competition, Unix has been sensational and has won all its pool games.

Coach Iliesa Raketekete said the players played well and followed the game plan.

Results yesterday: China Town 3- Survivor 0, Delainavesi 3- Challengers 1, LFC Army 3 - Tuvalu 1, Rebels 3 - China Tow 0, Women's: LFC Army 3- Baby Sharks 0, Unique 3- Stoppers 0, Unix- 3- Baby Sharks 0, LFC Army- Stoppers 0
