'We want a clean Honiara'

Wednesday, February 28, 2018

HONIARA - Pacific Games Council President Mr Vidhya Lakhan has raised the need for a clean Honiara for the 2023 Pacific Games.

Lakhan made a 5 day visit to the country last week to meet with the local sport federations and assess the country's preparations for the 2023 games.

"We want to see a clean and modern Honiara," he said.

"In 2023 we want to present to other pacific countries a different Honiara to what we are seeing."

Lakhan said they will be meeting with the Honiara City Council Mayor, Andrew Mua to discuss plans in upgrading and beautifying the city for the games.
