VODAFONE Lautoka soccer captain Beniamino Mateinaqara says all the hard work has been done and the onus is on the players to deliver the goods at the OFC League championship.

The Blues will meet AS Venus of Tahiti in the second Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League in New Zealand tomorrow and the evergreen goalkeeper is confident the players will rise to the occasion and showcase their talents against their opponents.

He said the side had prepared well and there was no pressure on his shoulders knowing he had capable players on his side.

"We have done our part, the officials have also done their part, now, the onus is on us to give our best during the play-offs," said Mateinaqara.

"We need to work together and play according to our game plan.

"Personally, it's no pressure for me as a captain, we just need to go out there and give our best.

"We just have to concentrate on our game and the results will look after itself."

Mateinaqara, who will be making his fifth OFC appearance, said teamwork was crucial.

"We just need to perfect our combination."

He urged the Lautoka fans to support the team through their prayers.

"I have faith in this team and I urge the fans to remember us in their prayers."
