Update: 2:29PM ONE HUNDRED and fifty police officers were today warned to be true to their role in serving the public.

They were told that no one was indispensable within the Fiji Police Force.

At the opening of the second constable qualifying course at the Fiji Police Academy in Suva this morning, acting deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said the conduct of police officers was always scrutinised.

"If you are still unsure of your purpose in the Fiji Police Force, let me remind you that you are here to serve and the life of a police officer requires dedication on a 24 hour basis and there is never an off duty officer," he said.

Twenty-two of the 150 officers attending the one-month course are members of the cadet officers program.
