Bug intercepted again at Lautoka wharf

Update: 5:08PM DEAD specimens of the exotic brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) was yet again intercepted by the Biosecurity Authority of Fiji (BAF) on-board a vessel bringing vehicles from Japan last Thursday at the Lautoka wharf.

A statement issued today by BAF said Biosecurity Officers were on high alert after the car carrier Morning Menad which also brought in a mix of new and used vehicles from Japan was earlier found with BMSB at Suva wharf last Saturday
