Fiji Bati U23 through to semis

Update: 4:38PM VODAFONE Fiji Bati Under-23 side will feature in the semi-final of the Commonwealth 9s championship in Australia this afternoon.

Fiji beat Scotland 14 -10 and later Wales 12-0 yesterday to book a place in the semi-final. In their last match they lost to Australia 24-4. 

The national side will face Tonga at 3.25pm this afternoon while Australia will face Samoa in the first semi-final.

The Pacific Energy Fiji women's side did not have a positive outing as they lost 24-6 to Samoa and Australia 24-0.  They will feature in the shield competition now.
