Update: 12:48PM PEOPLE who visit health centers in the Suva-Tailevu corridor will soon have the opportunity to know more about early signs of childhood cancers.

This comes after  Walk on Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji will embark on placing posters and banners in health centers that reveal in detail the symptoms of a child suffering from  cancer.

WOW's team leader, Viola Lesi said this process would make it easier for people to know about cancers and how it affected children in the country.

"We want start this activity by the end of next month. We are also planning to go to Naitaisiri as well and visit the health centers there," Ms Lesi said.

She said child cancers were curable and that early detection was important if parents and adults wanted to save their children's lives.

Last year, 15 children lost their lives battling cancer in the country.
