Bus stand Could the authority looking after bus stands come and inspect the Labasa bus stand on a rainy day? People get wet from the sides as well as from the leaking roof. Sukha Singh Labasa

Patience pays

Traffic jams are a major concern for road users when we rush against time to catch up for our commitments. Unlike natural disasters, that is beyond our control, let's hope road transport authorities would come out with some solutions to everyone's relief and safety. However, the biggest test for patience is when it pays to have patience when caught up in a traffic jam.

I was very impressed with the roadworks between Labasa and Savusavu. Kudos to FijiFirst. For the very first time the old tarseal has again been sprayed with a new layer of seal. This the past governments just did not do. This is just one of those things left behind by past governments that FijiFirst has to clean.

FRU and Fiji FA

Good to see Fiji's two biggest sporting associations combining. Now our Fiji 7s players' contracts and pay will be on time and as for Fiji soccer, now they will improve their ranking or maybe not. God bless both the associations.

March denial

It's not the end of the world. I believe another permit should be applied for.

Being merciful

The disposition to be kind and forgiving. Founded on compassion, mercy differs from compassion or the feeling of sympathy in putting this feeling into practice with a readiness to assist. It is, therefore, the ready willingness to help anyone in need, especially in need of pardon or reconciliation. Food for thought for this period of Lent.

More rubbish

The rubbish at Nepani Rd has been unattended by the municipal council of Nasinu for over a month now and hopefully will be cleared soon. The longer it takes to be picked up, the more the rubbish each day. Hopefully authorities seriously look into the matter.
