Biman assures province

National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad has reassured the people of Bua Province that he will stand by all their issues if he was given a chance in Parliament.

He emphasised this during an interview with this newspaper yesterday.

"We had our talanoa session up in Nadivakarua, Dama and Vatubogi in the Bua Province on Thursday night and it all went well," he said.

Prof Prasad said the talanoa session made him realise how most villagers and members of the communities in that area were not happy with a lot of things.

"One of the common issues raised by the people of Bua is the poor road conditions," he said.

Prof Prasad said people living in the Bua Province were concerned about the high cost of living, health services and poor road conditions.

"This needs to be highlighted, especially the road between Nabouwalu and Wainunu, which I learnt has been in poor condition for quite some time now."
