AS part of their yearly projects, leading local manufacturer — Paradise Beverages (Fiji) Ltd was distributing food packs to the needy and homeless individuals in the streets of Suva last week.

A report published by this newspaper on Sunday, February 18 stated Paradise Beverages Fiji Ltd sales and marketing manager Joseph Rodan Sr said the companys sports and social club took up the initiative to give back to the community.

"We have about 12 projects throughout the year, and feeding the homeless is one of those," said Mr Rodan.

"For the month of February, the project involves feeding the homeless. There are 202 homeless people in Fiji and this is our way of trying to help out."

He said apart from this, the company would also visit charitable organisations such as the Dilkhusha Girls Home, Father Law Home and St Christopher's Home.

Each homeless individual was given two packs of food and coffee as part of the goodwill drive.
