NATIONAL ace goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau is all set to guard Suva's goalmouth against Nadi after he was injured during the battle of the cities match against Lautoka last week.

The Capital City side is on fourth position on the Vodafone Premier League points table after a 3-2 win over Rewa and then the side went down to Lautoka 2-1 last weekend.

"Tamanisau has recovered from his injury and ready for his duty again," Suva Football Association president Ritesh Pratap said.

"We cannot underestimate Nadi despite the side going down to Tavua 1-0. We know the capabilities of Nadi and the players they have in the team which can beat any team on the day."

Bruce Hughes will miss the match after copping two yellow cards in the previous matches.

The match kicks off at 7pm tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Meanwhile, the Suva FA has, on Wednesday, appointed Tuka Tisam as the head coach for the Suva team.

Pratap said the association was looking forward to working with Tisam who was the assistant coach for the Capital City side in 2017.

"The Suva FA executive finalised his appointment on Wednesday for Tuka (Tisam) to lead the side as the head coach from this week," Pratap said.

"He is one of the good coaches and he also has A licence as well; so it is an added advantage for the team to win titles this season.

"Our interim coach Riaz Ali will be our assistant coach. We have also given him another portfolio where he will coach the Suva under-16 and Suva-17 teams — he will help in the development of the players."
