PROMINENT local designer Zelda Thomas will be showcasing her latest collection of outfits at the Fijian Fashion Festival, an initiative of the Fashion Council of Fiji later this year.

Ms Thomas said the festival was a refreshed platform that was more focused on fashion business and developing designer potentials.

"I believe in the Fijian Fashion Festival objective and the Fashion Council of Fiji's commitment to quality and ensuring that the best are on display for the world to see," Ms Thomas said.

"The show will go on livestream which have the potential to result in direct sales to members of the Fijian and Pacific Diaspora. So many firsts for fashion in Fiji are coming through the festival."

The Fijian Fashion Festival will be held on June 1 and 2 this year at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
