Weather watch: Flood alert remains

Update: 7:00PM A FLOOD alert remains in force for the low lying areas, small streams for Vanua Levu, Northern and Western parts of Viti Levu.

The special weather bulletin number 49 for flood issued from the Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre (RSMC) in Nadi at 4pm today also stated that the flood alert was now in force for the low lying areas, small streams and downstream of Vatukacevaceva station to Rakiraki town.

The low lying areas, small streams and downstream of Nasivi station to Tavua town is also subjected to this flood alert.

The next special weather bulletin for flood will be issued at or around 7pm.
