Fijians are known in New Zealand as friendly people.

During the weekend, as the world zoomed in on New Zealand for another tournament of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, a lot of people from all races and walks of life spilled into Hamilton City for the two-day occasion.

Some, like a New Zealand teenager, had to look for accommodation.

He stayed with a friend in a hotel, but because of work, they did not meet for two days.

He had nowhere to leave his luggage, and sought the help of two Fijians staying in the same hotel. When his friend returned, and after waking the two Fijians at 4am to recover his luggage, he said, "I always read about Fijians who are friendly, now I know why you are the 7s champions.

"One day, I will come to visit Fiji."

Being Fijian ambassadors come in many form.
