UniFiji holds orientation

UNIVERSITY of Fiji vice-chancellor Professor Prem Misir says the institute is focused on producing work-ready graduates to help develop a knowledge-based economy.

Speaking at the school's student orientation on Monday, Prof Misir spoke on key issues such as plagiarism, absenteeism, student evaluations and the importance of interdisciplinary approach to studying.

After the orientation, students were able to explore the university's facilities and learn more about the courses being offered.

The university has campuses in Lautoka and Suva.
