LIFELINE Fiji hosted an information sharing session at Syria Park in Nausori two weeks ago to raise awareness on the issue of suicide.

Outreach co-ordinator for Lifeline Fiji Jeremiah Merekula said they decided to hold the session in Nausori because they noticed an increase in suicide rates within the Nausori, Tailevu and Wainibuka districts.

The information sharing session was to create awareness to the public on the services they could access when they needed assistance.
