Blue is living her dream

Tuesday, February 06, 2018

Update: 5:15PM BLUE De la Mare grew up watching the World Supermodel Pageant not knowing that four years later, she would be representing Fiji to the World Supermodel South Pacific regional finals.

The 16-year-old Fijian and New Zealand citizen said she first started modelling at the age of 12, after watching the crowning of the World Supermodel Pageant at the Pearl Resort.

"After the pageant, I walked up and down the runway pretending to be a supermodel. I loved it so much that I went home and told my parents that I was going to become a model," she said.

"Representing the region will be at the forefront of my daily life. I am committed to representing the region with honesty and integrity throughout the entire process and afterwards and be a delegate that the region will be proud of."

The event will take place in April at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour.
